Chicken Alfredo pasta
A creamy comfort food classic. Treat yourself to a delicious (if a little less healthy) pasta with plenty of Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients (for 2 persons):
• 2 chicken fillets
• Herbs for the chicken (per side):
• ½ tsp paprika powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp oregano
• ½ tsp basil
• ½ tsp salt
• Penne (for 2 persons)
• Large knob of butter
• 2 pressed cloves of garlic
• 150 ml cream or full-fat cooking cream
• 1 tsp lemon zest
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• A generous amount of black pepper
• Lots of Parmesan cheese
• Freshly cut parsley
Preparation method:
Season the chicken breasts generously on both sides with the spices. Sear the chicken whole until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and cut into pieces.
Use the same pan to make the sauce. Melt a generous knob of butter and add the crushed garlic. Cook gently for 3 minutes. Add the cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
Cook the penne in plenty of salted water. Reserve a little of the pasta water. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a splash of pasta water for extra creaminess.
Add the chicken pieces to the pasta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
