Gezonde kapsalon

Healthy hair salon

This recipe is on our table at least twice a month. It's incredibly delicious, filling, and healthy at the same time.

Preparation time: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients for two people:
- 2 chicken fillets or about 250 g chicken fillet cubes
- Small bag of finely chopped iceberg lettuce
- About 10 cherry tomatoes (or more if you like)
- 1 mini cucumber or half a cucumber
- Half a red onion
- 200 grams of baby potatoes or sweet potato fries
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Chives
- 1 tablespoon of French fries
- 3 tablespoons low-fat cottage cheese
- 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
- Half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Al'Fez Shawarma Marinade (super tasty, always have a jar in the fridge available at Jumbo).
Don't have that and don't feel like buying it? Then use other shawarma spices or look online for a good blend.
Herbs: pepper, salt, paprika powder, cumin powder, oregano

Preparation
1. In a skillet, sauté the baby potatoes over medium heat with olive oil, a teaspoon of paprika, a teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of pepper. They're ready when they're golden brown.
2. Marinate the chicken. If you have whole chicken breasts, cut them into large cubes. Add: 1 tablespoon shawarma marinade, 1 tablespoon yogurt, 1 teaspoon paprika, a pinch of salt and pepper, a pinch of dried oregano, a pinch of ground cumin, two crushed garlic cloves, a teaspoon of lemon juice, and mix well. Set aside.
3. Make the garlic sauce with 1 tablespoon of French fries, 3 tablespoons of low-fat quark, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of chopped chives, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste to see if the flavors are right. If it's still too tart, add a little honey.
4. Cut the red onion into half rings, the cucumber into half moons and the tomatoes in half.
5. Place the baby potatoes in the oven to keep warm, or transfer them to a separate pan and heat two tablespoons of olive oil in the skillet. Add the marinated chicken cubes and brown them all over, about 5-8 minutes.
6. Serve! Arrange the baby potatoes on top and top with the iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, chicken, and of course, the garlic sauce. Enjoy!

*Don't have yogurt at home? Just use quark.
*Don't have a fresh lemon? A bottle of lemon juice will do.
